I would highly recommend 4myschools if you’re looking for an agency that is supportive and finds you work quickly based on your specific preferences and needs. The sign up process was very fast and easy. Syvonne from the Suffolk Team has been nothing but supportive and found me a long term placement straight away! She would regularly check in on me and I felt very comfortable reaching out to her if I had concerns or any queries. The most unpleasant experience. Agents sound nice but unhelpful and the demands for the simple job of assistant are ridiculous. The agents behave like customs officers. Even though you gave all possible documents they demand they look again and again for something else. Even my adviser said they are strange and I just had to leave it. I found other organizations more approachable. Do not waste time with them.

** Update** I have returned to 4myschools for yet another stint of agency work and I believe this is my 3rd time doing so. It's the only agency I have gone back to and this is because of their ability to actively listen and quickly get what you're looking for. Last time, I came back with a keen interest in working in nurseries - something they didn't really do but they reached out to schools and realised that many needed this type of supply. This time, I'm back for a summer term placement as a teaching assistant. As an agency, I cannot fault the staff. If you want an upbeat, caring company to work for, this is it. I had a difficult end to my most recent work and both Cassie and Katie have been supportive and helped to get me back on my feet. As a company, they just seem to support and care for each other too, knowing that Paul (the person who reached out to me initially) and the team regularly help to manage each other's workloads. I have found the types of schools I have been matched to have been like-minded and I have really enjoyed my placements, as a cover teacher, nursery assistant and teaching assistant. The vetting completed is top notch and reassures the schools that they know they are receiving qualified and relevant individuals who are able to muck in and get on with it. I know, from my own experience, this is not always the case with other agencies. When meeting other 4myschools advocates, they have all been really positive and seem to really enjoy working with them and the schools that 4myschools have chosen to work with. ------- An absolutely brilliant agency to work with. I worked with Mandie Miller in Norwich as a supply teacher and interventions TA and she was so good at matching me up with the right schools and has found an equally amazing replacement for me in my current role. Mandie works flexible hours for you to register and communicate with you at a time that is convenient for you. The whole team are always friendly to speak to and 4myschools provide opportunities for CPDs. I was also really impressed with the payroll system, with weekly payslips emailed to you and not having to use an umbrella company unless there is one you are interested in using. I would highly recommend 4myschools to teachers in any stage of their career as an opportunity to explore schools, gain more experience and skills for a variety of key stages. A very organised system through use of an app to help organise when you can or cannot accept work as well.
