Acorn have serviced my boiler for a few years. My 15 year old boiler finally gave up so Lewis came today and installed a new boiler system. He was very thorough and professional and with the help of Killian had the system up and running again in no time and left my home clean and tidy. The team at Acorn communicated brilliantly regarding booking appointments, even getting back to me over the Bank Holiday. I had an appointment booked for a heating system repair booked for next Monday, however had 12 people (including 6 vegans....) over for New Year and the toilets all stopped working! The showers also appeared to be stuck at 400 degrees C. Acorn were able to move my appointment forward and Lewis visited yesterday. Thanks to him, we can now stop flushing using buckets of water, can shower happily and keep warm by the radiator. Great service and lovely people. Christmas period is always the busiest time of the year in the trade, our boiler decided to stop work and a concerning loud noise which half of the street could probably hear. This wasn’t ideal with a new born baby either! I called Acorn first thing in the morning and explained the situation and Acorn were so understanding of the situation and despite how busy they were, they still popped in to have a look first thing in the morning determined to help as they understood our situation with a new born baby. They were very responsive and professional and sent me quote the same day and even managed to squeeze in an appointment the next week to replace the boiler. I could not recommend them enough, even if they can’t pick up the phone. The owner Alex made a courtesy call to check in and make sure someone got back to me and to double check I was happy with everything which just shows how they value their customers and how communication is key. I was recommended to call Acorn by a friend who is a plumber. I figured that if a plumber recommended them, they must be good! And they were. We needed a boiler service, during which Alex identified a couple of issues which needed attention. Instead of charging an arm and a leg to repair a fairly old boiler, they came up with some innovative solutions that saved us a tonne of cash and which were very effective. Acorn's responsiveness - when other plumbers wouldn't even answer their phones - was amazing (it was winter, the heating and hot water supply had stopped working - we needed a plumber quickly!)
