Aka Party Band played at our wedding in December 2022, and wow what can we say! They put on an amazing performance and our guests can’t stop telling us how good they were, the dance floor was always busy despite the fact the England World Cup game was on!! Matt was professional and patient with me (the bride) throughout the build up for the day and was able to put my mind at ease. They played for our first dance which was truly magical. We can’t thank them enough and would 10/10 recommend to anyone!!

We booked AKA to play at our wedding and they were simply fantastic! The show they put on was absolutely superb on the night and we received a lot of compliments from guests. In the run up to the wedding Matt also provided a top service in the planning of the music for the entire evening (and in fact was also DJ in between band sets) and was always friendly, professional and patient with all our questions. They're a very professional and patient group who not only brought tonnes of talent and energy but were also receptive to our individual requests, supporting my husband and I performing a couple of songs of our own. From searching through the hundreds of available bands for our wedding, AKA stood above and beyond - the energy, the smiles, the music - and they didn't disappoint. A small wedding of close family and friends, we were concerned about filling the dancefloor, but with AKA I don't think it was ever empty. Matt was great with communicating prior to booking and before the day, ensuring everything was ready and planned. Despite a last minute hitch of Matt not being able to make it on the day, he arranged a great stand in and all went well. The band played a song of our choice for our first dance, and playlists of our choice for inbetween their live sets. Seonaid is great with the vocals, and the band chose their set of songs brilliantly, instilling their energy into them to keep everybody dancing all night. I hope the band enjoyed the day as much as everybody else did, and I'm sorry I didn't get more time to speak to them all. We'd definitely use AKA again.
