I popped into Angell at 6.30 this evening to pick up a price list and enquire about massage treatments. The woman behind the desk told me she was fully booked for the evening and offered me an appointment for the next day which I couldn’t do, I was just about to ask about availability for the following week when she then offered me an appointment for 7pm that evening and asked me to come back in half an hour which was perfect for me. I assumed that there must have been more than one person working there given that she was fully booked but could suddenly fit me in. I went back just before 7pm and was asked to wait. I then realised there was only one lady working there who had double booked me intentionally alongside a gent who also had a 7pm appointment! She told me she would offer acupuncture and could flip between 2 people every 10 minutes whilst applying the needles and leaving them to work whilst she saw the next person! I had specifically said at the time of picking up a price list that I didn’t want acupuncture and massage was the treatment I wanted. She had disregarded my preference and double booked me for acupuncture with the intention of making double the money seeing 2 customers at the same time. I reminded her that I did not want acupuncture. She then told me that she could not offer me a massage as she would have to leave every 10 minutes to check on the other customer having his acupuncture. At this point she was very annoyed but then offered me a half an hour appointment for massage and disappeared in the back. 10 minutes later she was still in the back with her other customer so I left her a note telling her that she double booked her 7pm and I left. This greedy woman wasted my time and will do what suits her and disregards her customers. I would avoid at all costs.
