I contacted this centre about a lovely dog which my husband and I was hoping to adopt as a campion for our other dog, I found the responses from this trust to be very rude and quite hostile. My husband and I have never adopted a dog before so sent our personal information only to be presented with a rude reply. We have decided not to use this trust no surprise there , good luck to anyone trying to give a loving caring home to any dogs in this trust.Do not recommend using them

I rang Animal Action on behalf of my retired friend, who is an experienced and caring dog owner of 50 years. I spoke to Lou, who was extremely hostile and asked me questions about whether my friend had any medical conditions, how far she could walk (?) and said that she couldn't make a decision because she'd had lots of enquiries from elderly people. Apart from being offensive, her questions were discriminatory. My friend could go out and buy a puppy with no such abuse, but because she is elderly, she is being responsible and seeking out an older dog, which Animal Action are trying to rehome. What a shame that they have alienated someone who would have provided an excellent home for an old dog.
