Its a very big, especially long church for a small town. Had a long chat with a guide, apparently, one of the monasteries " dissolved" by Henry VIII. Defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area. Don't understand why 27 monks needed a place this big. Its really, really long. But has real charm. Free to go in.

Well worth a visit. Free to enter. Started building the abbey in 1069. So nearly a 1000 Yrs of history. Nice little cafe and gift shop too. Last time we went they allowed well behaved dogs in . Check first though. Very recommended as we spent longer than expected. Volunteer staff extremely helpful. Will go again.

Well worth a visit, very interesting to read its history as you go round. Free entry as well but please leave a donation. They need £3,000,000 for repairs.
