I’d been trying to find someone to fix my carriage clock. Mr Ardley was lovely! He’s obviously really passionate about his work and takes pride in what he does. He beautifully restored my lovely clock and the comforting ticking sound has resumed on my fireplace. It’s so shiny! Totally recommend for all your clock repairs. I had 2 clocks repaired recently and both are keeping good time and I was very satisfied with the service. I was without the clocks for a few weeks but you expect that as they are not an overnight fix and you have to be patient. A craftsman cannot be rushed

I have put my clock which belonged to my late father in law into ardley watch repairers about 3 months ago despite numerous phone calls and calling at the shop we have not heard anything back . Poor service.

Very disappointed. I chose this company to fix a clock that is around 50 years of age and it is great sentimental value to my mum. Ardleys had the clock 3 months and sill had not got suitable hands for the clock. I was advised I might have more luck getting something off Ebay??? As someone who is in the trade of fixing older clocks surely this should not have been a problem this was why we sent the clock to him in the first place. Very cheap workings inside. I had to constantly get in touch to find out where he was with the repairs. Very poor customer service. we have asked if the original hand and workings to be returned to us. Apparently now on holiday and will post on return, I have not been told when this will be. Looks highly unlikely I will get these back. Would not recommend Ardleys and I am sorry I ever dealt with them. Got the impression he really could not be bothered.
