  I spent a great hour with Claire at Shendish Manor having some photos taken for my business website - I hate having my photo taken and she is the only person I know who makes the experience enjoyable. She is kind, relaxed, professional, funny and the best company ever. I would highly recommend Art by Claire Wedding &Portrait Photgrapher to anyone who needs some photos, whether for your wedding, business, or family memories, she is great and the results are beautiful.

  I did a mini taster shoot with Claire. The pre shoot customer service/communication was great, although sadly this didn't continue after this point. In particular when I complained about the unauthorised and illegal publication of my images and personal information on social media (I was not sent the T&Cs which means you are agreeing to this when you book ( I wouldn't have booked had I know this was a T&C)) there was no acknowledgement of my complaint and initially only some of the images were taken down; I had to call to get the rest removed. Sadly I still haven't received an apology (and certainly no in-person discussion) for publishing my images without permission (only one for not sending me the T&Cs, which is a different thing), which would be basic good customer service and would have meant I wouldn't feel the need to write this review. The publication was additionally problematic for me because the images weren't what I had hoped for. Although I have downloaded them all I can only use about 4 out of the 80 images and even then none are stand out images I had wanted by hiring someone. This may have been partly because the experience was only 30 mins, however I also feel that the focus was on quantity rather than quality and there wasn't full consideration for my brief. I probably would not have raised this specifically, however when I mentioned this as a reason I was especially unhappy that the images had been published, again rather than acknowledging or seeking to resolve my comments, the focus became trying to pressure me to allow some images to be used for publication (to help in her promotion of the business) and being told that she thought the images were great. Again, I think this was poor customer service and was a disappointment given the initial good communication.

  Claire did our photography for our wedding at Tewinbury Farm Hotel. From the second we met her she was absolutely fantastic. Very polite, courteous and reassuring and called us well in advance of our wedding to outline the plans for the day and what photos would be taken and when. Claire was fantastic at herding and gathering guests for photos and the overall photo album received was fantastic! A true credit to the industry! Thank you Claire for all your hard work on our big day!

  Claire photographed our wedding 2 years ago and just this week photographed our baby son. She is very freindly (baby would not stop smiling!) and listened to what we wanted on both occasions. The photos were fantastic, creating some lovely natural shots which we will treasure forever. Her prices are very reasonable too!

  A Brilliant photographer, who captured some beautiful moments for our wedding this year. Being the hottest day of the year and everybody being hot and bothered, Claire managed to still get some amazing shots and was very patient with us and all of our guests. The personalised photo album we received was absolutely beautiful with all of the best shots, as well as a usb with all of our photos black and white and colour. We Would highly recommend, thank you again Claire.
