Gone from being really helpful and lovely to unhelpful and uncaring overnight. I signed a contract for my flat tenancy renewal back in February but they failed to tell me that my landlord had not signed and returned the contract so I was blissfully unaware that my home was a risk. I was advised my home is for sale last week after renewing various utilities for another year that I will still be liable for when I leave. In panic mode I put a holding deposit on another property without really thinking it through and put under pressure to move quickly. I have pulled out of the new rental but disgusted when they refused to refund my money despite their mistake in not passing on information. I have religiously paid my rent on time despite being made redundant over covid and feel this is a pretty unethical and unpleasant way to treat a good tenant. All in all their mistake has cost me a fortune and I wont use them again. Started out so good but beware when they make a mistake they wash their hands of you. Update…. Reduced my rating even less stars when I saw the unsatisfactory and bias response I got from the shower of complete unprofessionals. They aren’t interested in dealing with their mistake and are totally ignoring my very valid and proven issues. Won’t be using them again and I suggest others don’t, times are hard spend your money with companies who excel in customer service and want to look after you, with competition for business as it is use those companies who want to do a good job and who care about their customer and doing the right thing, it’s so important in this financial climate to go to companies who are prepared to work for your business and go the extra mile… which is certainly not this lot!
