We Bought a caravan a good few years ago unfortunately it had damp. We went to B&B’s and to cut a long story short Karen ended up giving us so much advice and saving us money by using secondhand items instead of buying new that I don’t think we would still be using the caravan if it wasn’t for her. She can seem offish at first but once you get to know her she is the most helpful and knowledgeable person I know. Thankfully we haven’t had to pay her a visit for a couple of years but B&B’s is the first call if we need anything.

Just looking at the comments re. rudeness. Karen may not be the type of person to leap up and be desperately at your beck and call, and yes she might be quite chilled out with serving, but she’s a good woman at heart and is so blooming helpful if you give her a chance and talk to her nicely. Her dad is so chatty too and he just makes me laugh so much. Yes some may say it’s a quirky place but I love it and if she hasn’t got what you need then I’d be very surprised if it existed. We so need these sort of places with all their buried treasures, just like the old hardware shops we have lost, and we need people like Karen to make it work, so keep up the good work Karen! See you again soon - I need some more loo rolls! 😆

Found this company on the Internet one week ago. Spoke to Karen in the shop about problems I have with the dampener on my caravan. I have been totally truthful to her that I've been let down by a certain company in Cranham who's meant to know everything about caravans??!! . This women at B&B's is an absolute cyclopedia of knowledge. She has also saved me money by advising how to do the repair myself. The part came quickly because it wasn't something she stocked. So thanks again for all your help. And I hope you can help me again with other projects I have with my caravan.

The poor reviews here, have already indicated I shouldn’t be spending my money. Owning a caravan can be an expensive hobby and small businesses need to be helped. But on this occasion I think I’ll take a hard pass. And yes it has to be said ‘Karen’ needs some manners. They cost nothing!
