Lets make it clear, we've decided to put the backlot cafe into the food stall category. This is an extremely busy food outlet with thousands crossing its counters each day, its a midway point on your magical fantastic Harry Potter Tour. Options are limited as you'd expect with such a high turn over in food production every hour. Burgers, chips, hotdogs & butterbeer are the dishes mainly on hand. Quality: This is a conveyor system, fast pace dining, chips are your standard serving with what ever sauces you wish to cover them in, for the southern fried chicken burgers, dry, over cooked, super cripsy & no real volume of chicken fillet, however the pulled pork loaded fries were plenty of which filled in the gabs you pork is the usual bag pack quality. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: This is the only main hot food vendor on the tour, prices are like festival or fair ground rates, this can be even more price tag heavy for a family outting, for what you get its normal slap dash food for this style venue, put sharing is the option to avoid the food bill. ⭐️⭐️ Taste: Plain, blandness & nothing to rave about here for such the only fastfood outlet, we were surprised by the pulled pork loaded stuff but that's all down the sauce again. ⭐️⭐️ Consistency: There's no differences, your portions are unified, food on parade everything looks the same & is cooked to maximise demand, we anticipated this & fair play to the backlot cafe. ⭐️⭐️ It's a take it or leave it, maybe save that cash for the experience of the tour, chocolate frogs, honeyduukes, butterbeer or wands enjoy the magic of the Happy Potter experience. Update: the restaurant management did take my complaint for food poisoning very seriously, though it doesn’t change what happened and not exactly sure it will result in a change in their overall quality.
