A friendly and warm welcome on arrival. We were able to check in early as room was ready, which was very helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Good tea and coffee facilities, beautifully presented. Lovely toiletries provided, plus flannels. Bar was well equipped and comfortable for drinks and a chat. Breakfast was fantastic. A great selection, all freshly cooked and piping hot. Hotel is just a short walk to Boscombe beach and a reasonable stroll into Bournemouth along seafront. Bus stop a few yards from hotel with very regular service. Would highly recommend this jewel and will certainly be back.

Wonderful service and a beautiful room. I'm gluten free and they couldn't do enough to help. A little out of town but if you like a walk, a really great place to stay. Rooms: Lovely high ceilings, beautifully decorated.

Rooms: I stayed in Room 10 (superior double) which was comfortable and warm. Good sized bathroom. Personally I think it's still small for two people Safety: B and B is on the main road so I felt safe returning after dark Walkability: 15 minutes walk to Bournemouth station and into town centre. ** Station and town centre are in separate directions. Bus stop just outside and served by about four frequent bus routes. Food & drinks: Breakfast was brilliant. I don't have any dietary requirements, but they cater for those who do. Gluten free are kept separately to avoid contamination which is impressive. Variety of tea, coffee and hot chocolate are in the room, alongside bottles of water and cookies.
