  Avoid!! Do not buy their own brand equipment, it is cheap, shoddily put together and likely to fail just outside of warranty. Upon tuning my nylon electro acoustic the entire bridge sheared right off the body of the guitar. Contacted customer services who basically said 'tough luck, it's outside of warranty' (by a few months) 'get it repaired yourself'. I thought this was a reputable company who would only put their name on products manufacturered to a certain quality, this has proved to be a very costly assumption. Do yourselves a favour and go and visit your local music store, don't deal with these cowboys Edit... They have replaced free of charge, like for like but only after going public with my misgivings. Will have to see if this one is any better made.

  The staff are brilliant and very knowledgeable. Nothing is too much trouble ask to see a £3,000 guitar in a couple of minutes it's in your hands then they ask what amp you play through so it sounds the same as when you've got it at home. I've never had a less than brilliant experience in Gear4Music. However resonator guitars, they only have hartman and a dobro in stock, on their website there are a few others available however you have to buy one before they will order it in. So you cannot try before you buy you'll have to find it somewhere else. Our family have bought three guitars from Gear4Music. I really want a resonator, but it is so annoying I can't try a few so I'm going to have to go to PMT and some other music shops.

  For music lovers I recommend this shop you must visit. They have anything and everything for music. Very helpful and talented staff ( most of them loves and plays guitars ) This shop is indirectly encouraging the local youngster to learn music.

  Bought a resonator guitar paid by… Bought a resonator guitar paid by credit card guitar arrived but cracks along the side of the neck appeared where the frets go in .phoned gear 4 music they had it picked up today by ups no recipte left for me but have him on door ring camera scanning bar code on box and taking it to his van No idea when the new replacement will be sent out .I asked if a new one could be sent out with ups as they pick up the faulty one I was told no So now I wait and it looks like it will be next week as its may bank holiday Well this was a first buy for me at 70 and will not be buying of this company again ever.. Just phoned gear 4 music today Friday to see when the new guitar will be sent out told 5 to ten days So I said just refund me to my credit card I have had enough of you All I got was OK refunded good bye And I am a first time customer one bitten twice shy comes to mind.. Just ordered same guitar but electric acoustic resonator of a company in Kent it cost £5 more but will be here next Tuesday Some firms know how to treat customers..

  I've always been happy with gear 4 music. I've ordered cables , mixers and effect pedals and a stage snake from them and most recently some special adapters to enable me to connect the phono output of a small mixing desk to jack plug to XLR speaker cables for some active speakers that I have. The adapters were excellent build quality and extremely robust and well made. Very happy indeed with the quality of the products and the service from Gear 4 Music. Their own brand products are good as well. I bought a pair of 15 inch active speakers that were entry level own brand speakers and they were well made , very robust with good power levels for the price. The built in mixer on the rear of the speaker was well designed and versatile too. One of the speakers actually fell off my stands once when we were doing a sound check and despite falling from a great height on to the ground was largely undamaged and still worked perfectly after the incident! Pretty impressive really.

  Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who can always advise on products, suitability, and pricing. The showroom is a haven for musicians and deejays. I didn't buy anything then but did so later, online, because I could spread my payments with Klarna. Only issue is that it has to be delivered as opposed to an in-store collection. Highly recommended and will always use them 👍🏾 👌🏾 👏🏾.
