    The fab team at Bel and Dragon Reading really helped to make my birthday party (big group booking at lunchtime) special - with a well put together menu for pre ordering, great communication about various arrangements, and friendly service on the day. It was good to have the private area upstairs and also an outdoor area for drinks after the meal, the sunny outside space is really nice. Whilst there were a couple of small issues with the food this isn’t unexpected for a big group meal and the team sorted things appropriately. Thanks again.

    We went to the Bel for dinner and the food was absolutely lovely and wine selection is quite decent as well. Unfortunately, the service was absolutely terrible. It wasn't busy at all and we were trying to get the waitress' attention while she was having a 10 minute chat with a colleague. Since she was facing away from the guests we were unsuccessful in getting her attention to order another bottle of wine. And when asked if we want dessert and we answered we'd have a look at the dessert menu she never bothered to actually bring the menu. We absolutely loved the atmosphere but the level of service is just too poor for us to return.
