We arrived 10 minutes before the booking to be told that the table wasn't available so we walked around town. Despite restaurants saying that you have a 10-15 minutes grace period if you arrive late. Surely it should work both ways!! We arrived back at 8.05 for an 8.00pm booking and the table still wasn't available so we were sat at a table of four. Once settled and drinks ordered we were asked to move to the original table as it was now free. Starters very average main courses much better. Staff friendly and polite but you get the feeling that it/they don't have to try too much as it is generally a busy central restaurant. Shame as there is plenty of better competition. Would we recommend or return? Would you?

Lovely food, but the chicken and Pesto dish I do not recommend. Chicken was too dry and chewy to eat. We did tell the waitress but no recompense was offered. Not even a coffee. It is ashame as the rest of the meal was good. The experience will stop us returning as it is not good customer service not offer replacement meal or compensation for this of the bill. We still gave a tip as waitress service was good.
