This is a really lovely, caring family business. I can go to work knowing that Enya is well cared for and having fun with her dog and human friends. I feel very fortunate that I have found such wonderful people that take the time and trouble to really see the personality of the dog. They clearly love what they do and are very accommodating to the owner's needs as well. It is a vital service for those of us who work and close to the train station is an added bonus.

I have a little dachshund called Ruby. Typically to the breed Ruby is stubborn highly judgmental and will only take to very few humans. She likes to play with who she likes and can be reactive to other dogs if not introduced in the correct manner. Best buddies look after my girl when I cannot be there during the working week, they know and understand all her “ways” and know exactly how to interact and sooth her. After two and half years since she joined their family they have cared for her and helped to nurture her when in their care. I would not hesitate to recommend them and have many times to friends. I know when she is there I don’t need to worry, she’s our world and we would not trust her with anyone but them xx pictures of her first few days and more recent two years down the road

Just under a year ago I wrote this “You guys are wonderful. All the pups have such fun. And our Millie is totally crashed out. She loves her day out at ‘play school’.” At the time our girl was just 10 months old and still finding her way in the doggy world. Just over a year later she has continued to love her time with Best Buddies. She literally drags us to the door each time she visits and over time has become a confident, sociable dog who just loves everyone (hoomans and pups). The whole team spend so much time with the dogs, individually and as a group. On fair weather days there are walks and games and even on rainy days there are enrichment exercises. During longer stays when we are away our girl enjoys her time as a member of the family. Something that wouldn’t necessarily happen in the more austere environment of a traditional kennel. The care and understanding of each dog’s needs are second to none. Don’t know what we’d do without you.

They mix and match dogs they look after to get the best out of everyone- they don’t just lump any and all dogs together without thought. The team give you updates on your pooch as well as any tips they might feel you should know. Our dog Baxter truly thinks Best Buddies is his second home and loves the whole team. 5 stars isn’t enough for Best Buddies, we love them.

Sam and family have looked after my beautiful Oscar since he was a tiny pup. They aren't just dog walkers but part of our family now. Oscar absolutely loves them all and he has an amazing doggy family he plays with every day. It has been essential to his own socialisation and we know that he is safe in their hands. Sam is also so knowledgable about dogs which, as first time dog owners, has been essential for training and maintaining a healthy dog. Sam takes lots of videos of the dogs playing and this really helps us to see what he is up to and just how much fun he is having. The dogs are all lovely and are clearly all totally devoted to Sam, Courtney and Luis. I would recommend 100% with no reservations. If you are looking for someone to love your dog as much as you do, these special people will.

My Jack Russell Rooney cannot get wait to get to his doggy day care with Sam, Tom and Luis at Best Buddies. He gets a whole lot of love, doggy socialisation, walks and stimulation; and I can see clearly just how happy he is there while I'm at work. Sam and her family look after all the dogs they care for as though they are their own, and that's why I recommend Best Buddies unreservedly.

My dog Bailey stays with Best Buddies twice a week. When I have to travel with work or go on holiday, Best Buddies are the only ones I trust with my special boy. When he is collected he runs out of the house without even a glance back at me. Tail wagging he runs to Sam , Courtnee and Luis ready for his day ahead. Actions speak a thousand words and his actions show me how happy he is with Best Buddies. I have complete trust that my dog’s well being is in good hands. For me finding Best Buddies and seeing the special bond Bailey has built with the family, is a great comfort to us. Thank you all for caring so much for my very needy boy.
