    Popped in today for a coffee and a snack and asked for some hash browns. I noticed that the bacon tong was used to pick the hash brown up and asked if I could have a different one due to dietary restrictions. The server responded quite rudely stating that the place is a butchers so I should expect things to be touching ? the deli counter is completely separate to the butcher counter which meant that her argument made absolutely no sense. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at me as well as towards other customers regarding my question. Very rude - would not visit again

    Rude hot counter staff, visited with my brother who was visiting from Ireland. I’d told him this is a place he must try when he’s back in Shrewsbury. He ordered a two items, one on a bap and one on a roll. Or as they call it a roll and a baguette. Then was pretty much mocked by the staff behind the counter for getting the names wrong and also allowed other customers to chirp in too with sarcastic comments. They look more like sub rolls than crunchy baguettes by the way. Oh and also, why make a massive breakfast sub roll and then put the ketchup on it last and allow it to smear the sauce everywhere apart from the food. Iv been a regular Customer since this place opened, both in the butchers and deli but I think il be more hesitant about recommend this place to any other visitors I have coming to Shrewsbury. I’d only recommend that some of your staff need some extra training in customer service, some people can be really anxious about ordering things face to face and don’t need to be mocked by the people that are there to help and serve them.
