Two days turned into 17 weeks. Finally! We had found our dream ship and we couldn't wait to leave. After traveling for two days from Tenerife by plane, ferry and taxi, we finally arrived at Buckler's Hard. However, we turned out to be the victim of a fraudster. Instead of a seaworthy ship, we got a disaster. We left everything behind and here we were with our suitcases. We had no choice but to go for it. And we completed that whole process, one disappointment after another, thanks to the enormous support of the marina staff. No question was too much, everyone was there if we needed anything. The moments that we didn't like it anymore, the staff was there to talk us into courage. I have visited many marinas and nowhere have I found the family atmosphere of Buckler's Hard. A very big thank you to everyone and especially the girls at the reception, especially Gill. As a manager, Wendy has struck the perfect balance. Recommended!

Had a great time visiting friends who were moored here. Stayed to have a meal at the pop of restaurant. Only little issue we had. After being allowed in via the intercom at the gate and going to pay the £5 ,parking. The staff didn't let us know the code to get out of the harbour and was almost locked in over night, but luckily after trying for a very long time to find out how to get out someone else who was leaving told us the code to lift the barrier
