Food was pretty dire. Chewy steak. Split bearnaise. Approx 8-9 greyish (green) beans for £4.75. Chocolate fondant was barely lukewarm and definitely not fresh: All appeared to be pre-prepared. One of the wait staff was very friendly and chatty but I had to ask twice about dessert and took ages to clear main even though it was half empty. Shame as the Bella Italia on site is fantastic. Didn’t say anything at the time as didn’t want to upset my parents who we were with.

Not a great experience. We visited twice during our stay and both times the service was awful, staff are very passive and rude and you get the feeling they just want you in and out as quickly as possible. The second time we visited our server Amy was slightly more friendly, but was quite distant and only came to our table to take our order and take our payment. The other guy who was working, who I'm assuming was the supervisor or manager, was just downright rude. My girlfriend and I had their 'brunch' afternoon tea for two, which consisted of a piece of bread with avocado on top, a glass of granola and yoghurt, and a few frozen pastries. Our food took 50 minutes to arrive, and wasn't particularly pleasant. The bill had an optional 7.5% service added to it, which we considered taking off but decided to leave on. After we'd paid none of the staff made any effort to say thank you or goodbye to us.

Nice atmosphere the food is tasty but the onion soup barely had any cheese in it. The salad was tasty as well. Although i think the portion could have been a bit bigger.

Forgot to bring the kids drinks, waited 40 minutes for food, they didn’t listen to our requests (no spicy mayo or onions.) 90% of the meals were stone cold, when asked what the reason behind the wait and stone cold meals were….. we were told - “we do have other diners to cater for!” It was only at about 50% capacity. God knows how they would cope if full. Very passive/uncaring service. Our food had clearly been sitting there going cold - waiting to be served. We walked out in the end and didn’t ever receive 4 of the meals we’d ordered. Apparently the chef had been SICK 🤢 while making our meals and the Manager was now in the kitchen!! They should’ve closed the restaurant! Absolutely DISGUSTING!!
