Awful delivery. Ordered a while before Christmas, got a dispatch note that week but hamper never arrived. I had to chase in early February, I got a terse email back and it still hasn't been sorted. Fingers crossed it arrives before next Christmas but I'm not holding out much hope. You're not saving on cost with them or getting reliability so I'd avoid.

The triple chocolate biscuits are terrible, extremely sweet, the sugar is actually crunchy and not melted in, you can feel the granules in your mouth. When I looked at the percentage ingredients I saw they were 42% sugar!!! Basically cheap junk biscuits packaged in a fancy tin to try and look posh. Very expensive too I believe (these were a gift)

We purchased a tin of ultra thick, dark chocolate stem ginger biscuits from Snape Maltings in Suffolk. The cost was £11.50. These biscuits had never seen ginger and the chocolate around the biscuits tasted like a cheap chocolate. I cannot see how you can justify the cost of this product, very dissapointing we expected a luxury product. Linda Gagen

This one was different! Gift from a supplier. Hampers are usually random collections of over-priced rubbish - if I ever wanted to send someone a hamper I'd fill it myself. The "Carter and Butler" name I'd never heard of and assumed it was made-up quasi posh like the pretentious names on hotel toiletries. (Maybe it is. The directors of Mooredale Foods who do these hampers are all called Arnett.) So low expectations but in fact everything in there was pretty good, including - surprisingly - the tea. The only jarring note was the "real ale chutney" which is such a revolting concept I'm not even going to open it.

Really unhappy, I have been waiting for a refund for parcels that were returned almost 2 months ago, such a shabby company, first tried to tell me they did not recieve the return, when I provided proof from courier, they took weeks to acknowledge my email, now its almost been over 2 months and they still haven managed to refund me, don't bother dealing with this company, really poor service! Create unnecessary stress and hassle!
