Caspa is a charity that has devoted itself to children and young adults on the spectrum, they are there for them and the parents when we feel there is no where else to turn, they allow the children and young adults to be themselves and not having to mask to just fit in, in my opinion they are all worth there weight in gold, and if it wasn't for them being there on the end of the phone or by message etc I'm sure quite a lot of us parents would have had a break down, they certainly are a life line who cares with there whole heart. Being a parent of a autistic/ADHD child can bee incredibly lonely. All the professionals along the way make you feel like you’re the only person whose child is like yours. You’re made to feel like a failure as a parent by healthcare professionals (I’ve done parenting classes). When you child has a meltdown or becomes overwhelmed you’re judged by those with neurotypical children. I’ve heard awful comments being made by others when my son is in full meltdown mode everyone staring, which is absolutely heartbreaking as they are the times when he’s hurting the most. Caspa gives me a place where I can talk to people who understand, who don’t judge & help lift you up when times are hard. Enable us to venture to places I no longer go on my own. Generally make me feel less alone. Also give my son a place where he doesn’t feel different & one of very few sets of people I trust to care for my son.

Caspa is a wonderful awesome fantastic Inspiring Inclusive club for young people with special needs. What I love about caspa is that everyone gets a long so well. Also I really like getting the opportunities to do many incredible activities. Also it’s good to see so many different young people with special needs because you can make friends and inspire others and I like to do that in many ways like using my voice or just give great advice and to make them feel confident in their own ways. Caspa staff are the best. My little one is 6 1/2 years old and this is the only place we have ever been that he is accepted exactly as he is. He never wants to leave and I'm not suprised, he can be himself.
