I am so confused about this company. Originally had a double window fitted in my house and everything was fine so decided to use them again to replace a single panel of glass in a rental. Communication was dreadful with delay after delay then finally when I get given an install date nothing and no further communication. Really not great service at all. Ultimately my tenants have suffered because of this poor service. Update: following this review they got in touch and completed the work. As previous, the workmanship is very good, just need to improve on communication.

Ian came out to give me an estimate for all the windows and doors and also for a new canopy over the front bay window. He stood outside my front door and asked me if I would like one like the one over the road or the one next door. He said that it would be about £500 and paid for separately as his boss would have to make and fit it. Also that it would cost more if there was any plastering to be done. He gave me the estimate for the windows which we accepted. The windows etc were fitted last September, 2020 and when I asked the fitters about the canopy they knew nothing about it. They rang Ian who told them that he knew nothing about it so they put me on the phone to him. I could not believe my ears when he said that he had no recollection of our conversation about a canopy! I said that I cannot believe you have no recollection of our conversation about the canopy and all that was said. He then said that it was not on the estimate! He would have a word with his boss. We have had two of the glass panes replaced as they were scratched and another one waiting to be replaced. I have lost count of the times I have rung Ian when he promised the canopy was going to be fitted but they had to complete some orders first because they had frames etc in their warehouse. All this was due to lock down. Now when we ring we only have an answer machine saying Ian will contact us straight away! He never does! My husband and I are now of the opinion that Ian knew they could not fit a canopy and only said they could in order to get the contract with us. We now have new white bay window and an old canopy above it which we desperately need doing. We wish we had never heard of Castle Windows.

Still awaiting a FENSA Certificate and a replacement sink (RRP £362.00) which a workman cracked when they changed the windows. The job was carried out in the winter of 2019! for my parents who are in their 70's.
