Surprise gem! Don't judge a book by it's cover. On the outside this looks like a bog standard takeaway but this little unassuming place serves some of the best Chinese food in York. You know the kind of fish & chip restaurant that has naff decor from the 70's but is always packed with pensioners because they serve a damn good fish & chips? This place is kinda the Chinese equivalent, it's stuffed with Chinese students, the decor/service is nothing to write home about and the concept of allergies & veterinarians/vegan is probably a little alien to them... but they serve damn good Chinese food.

There was a steel ball inside the dish “Grilled Sea Bass in Hot & Spicy Sauce” last time I went there for lunch——SCARY!!! (Also, the inpatient attitude from their manager made me uncomfortable)…
