The BEST results I’ve had from any Acupuncturist I’ve ever been to. So easy to find, park outside and a lovely cosy room. Went with so many issues and week by week I have got so much better and feel the best I have in years. I also had the herbal tablets which have really helped too. Would certainly go back and so pleased I’ve found a genuine, lovely practitioner, who really knows his stuff… Very professional, clean & welcoming!

For nearly a year I have suffered from what I have been told are pressure/primary headache, basically whenever I sneeze/cough/struggle with a toilet motion or bend forwards, a sharp instant pain appears on top of my head, I even hold the top of my head in a vain failed attempt to minimise the pain, the pain lasts up to 4/5 mins then dissipates, until the next episode. My GP recommended a CT scan, the results showed no visible problem, and to manage, pain killers were suggested, I have to say the NHS were excellent in trying to assist with the ongoing issue. I did not feel that for the ongoing future that was a course I wanted to follow, so for my sins looked at internet for alternative treatments, acupuncture looked favourable, in that it appeared to offer a possible solution, now at £50 a pop, and being a 69 year old sceptic, it did not look a really attractive proposition, wow was I wrong, booked to see Dr Jonathan Lai, courteous, professional and comforting advice was given at a totally FREE no obligation consultation, still unsure, and with no relief from the head pains, I booked a an acupuncture session, after having 8 to 12 needles placed on various points of feet, hands and head and not feeling them being placed on me, then lying on a couch for 30+ minutes, followed by a neck, head and shoulder massage, I left still not sure, I can now confirm after 5 sessions over a period of 7 weeks, along with a course of various Chinese herbal tablets @ £15, and no I don’t know what was in the tablets, although it was written on side of canister in english, I not only feel great, but have not suffered any further head pains, now maybe I wanted to believe this would work, and so my mindset was preset to positive, I don’t really care, I just know that I do not have any head pain, Dr lai, has recommended a visit every 6 to 7 weeks, for what he calls maintenance, not compulsory just a suggestion, with absolutely no pressure to continue. I would highly recommend Dr Lai, not a free option like the NHS, but in my case well worth the cost, IT WORKED 4 ME Bob Gray

Thankyou Dr Johnathan Lai. Your knowledge and acupuncture service has been amazing. It's great to sleep through again. I had been waking up between 3-4am after about 5 hours sleep for over a year. Dr Lai diagnosed that it is a possible blockage from a chemotherapy drug I took for a short period. He was confident he would clear it out and get me back sleeping. I am now 4 weeks with a full nights sleep 7-8 hours every night. I am functioning so much better, more clarity and am very grateful to you.
