We were given a plastic bag with some 8mm cine film reels after a relative had died, and so asked Excelsior to attempt a conversion of the cine film to DVD. I was genuinely surprised that any useful content could be accessed from the poorly stored films that were over 60 years old, but the results were surprising. The DVD they produced was excellent, and Excelsior even added background music to the silent films, which enhanced the viewing experience immensely. The DVD itself was very professionally produced, with a Start Menu containing snippets of the content.

Keeping family history alive… Old family videos are really precious but when faced with a box of over forty mixed Super 8 and double 8 films that we couldn’t watch to identify the content, it felt like an overwhelming and complicated job to organise. Paul made it very easy, explaining the digitising of our films and keeping us well informed throughout the process. We now have over fifty QuickTime videos that we can copy and share with our large family. Many lovely, emotional, funny and treasured moments that would otherwise have been lost!
