Coffee he recommended is amazing and even the Decaf coffee is without a doubt the best I have tasted! Can't wait to try the other blend!

Really nice place, the coffee area in the front is all snug and whilst I did not have a cake, they looked really delicious. The person who was there was kind and addressed me one on one rather than dealing with multiple customers at the same time which made it personal. He ground me various coffees for me to sniff and recommended some after I said my preferences. The coffee I did eventually choose was roasted the day before so I know its super fresh. The only downfalls I would say is the coffee is no longer free when you buy a bag of beans- something that I was really looking forward to as a bonus perk, the prices are independent shop prices which unfortunately means I won't be regularly visiting as cannot afford it and the coffee that was made for me was delicious but when I asked the man had no idea what beans it was that were used. Hint for the owner, a nice whiteboard sign just saying "you are drinking........." would be brilliant :)

The guys at Coffee Gems gave us such a personal, warm, and informative tasting session this afternoon. We all came away understanding more about the variables that affect the flavour of coffee and were also able to taste these differences in the quality coffees that were served during the afternoon. We had a great time; we'll be back!

Dropped in for the first time a couple of weeks ago and the owner, Ricardo, was very welcoming and went out of his way to grind me samples of his various roasts to smell and also gave me detailed explanations of their origins and profiles! Nice area at the front to sit down and enjoy a coffee too! I'll be back for more very soon. Cheers!

I stumbled across Coffee Gems by accident after seeing their sign on the road. Ricardo welcomed me into the shop with a delicious espresso. He then showed me around the Roasters, giving me some ground samples to smell and explore. I chose 4 bags and can't wait to test them. If the coffee tastes as good as my espresso and reflects the welcome into the shop I got, I'm confident that every blend and bean will be delicious.

Coffee Gems lives up to its name and the passion that Ricardo and his team exude from the moment you walk in the door is as evident as the smell of coffee. Ricardo is a extremely knowledgeable and shares his passion and the process with you. The detail on hand for every cup's journey from source to the tasting notes in your mouth as you enjoy your first drink at the coffee bar is incredible. Ricardo's enthusiasm for every facet of the drink is infectious and you can't help but be swept up in his pride and joy for the excellent product that he and his team produce. If you are local, I envy your luxury to drop in as and when to enjoy the work of these artisan roasters and the coffee that they produce. If you aren't local, use their online ordering system which though I haven't used it myself the reviews are excellent, and enjoy wonderful coffee delivered to your door. I would encourage you to make a trip, go and enjoy the warmth of their welcome and their coffee. Sign up to one of the tasting courses that they offer, you won't regret it. One moment more than any other on my visit summed up the passion that this little company shows. When we visited a man came in to the store and in his arms was his espresso machine. Ricardo explained that the gentleman had attended one of the cupping sessions and was now coming in to practice with his espresso machine to fine tune his skill with Ricardo and his team's guidance. That is the passion and love for the business and the coffee that they show.
