As a tenant, I feel it's important to share my experience with Collinson Hall. While their five-star reviews might look impressive, they come from people selling their houses. Unfortunately, my experience as a tenant has been quite different. When we moved in, we were immediately faced with a flea infestation. It took a lot of effort to convince Collinson Hall to provide a discount on our rent during this time, despite the fact that the flat was uninhabitable. To make matters worse, when we moved out, they insisted that we pay for a professional carpet clean, even though it wasn't in our contract and it is actually illegal to ask tenants for a professional clean. This was particularly frustrating, given that they were well aware of this fact. Communication was consistently poor throughout our tenancy, and we never received an updated inventory. Issues like the decayed windows were never properly addressed. I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from Collinson Hall to read up on their rights as a tenant and proceed with caution. While the agency may have positive reviews from homeowners, their treatment of tenants has left a lot to be desired.

I have nothing but the highest praise for John and all the team at Collinson Hall. I was using another estate agent due to a prior relationship I had with them, and nothing much was happening. I had been very impressed with John when I met him on the initial valuations and, but for that prior relationship, would have gone with them from the start, so I contacted him again and asked him to take up the reins. Immediately things started to happen to the point where there was competition for my property and i agreed a sale at above the asking price. Thanks to the entire team at Collinson Hall who all played their part in taking things to a successful conclusion and a job well done, I know I won’t be the first to say that!
