Our conveyancer was incredibly helpful we were delayed massively due to things out of her control she worked incredibly hard to get our purchase over the line to ensure we kept our original mortgage rate opposed to paying almost double. Absolutely incredible turn around and kept in contact with us when it mattered

After reading all the reviews I have to admit, I was really worried about using countrywide as we had already agreed to use them as the seller was using them. I honestly did not have any issues with anything, we went from offer accepted to completion in 12 weeks. It actually got held up as we went on holiday for 10 days. Claire was fantastic, always answered the phone (or called back), we had a swift reply from emails on Connect (the hub with all documents and info). We were always updated, we received all documents and information quickly. People mostly post bad reviews rather than good. I would use them again if we ever sold.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs. I used these jokers as they were recommended by my estate agents. We were selling my dad's house via Power of Attorney and it was as if this had never happened before in the history of conveyancing. Poor comms, no idea what's going on, delays, delays and what seemed to be a 12 year old in charge of the case.

0 STARS!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! 6 months later and no movement on our house. No response to emails. No response to anything. Different departments do not speak to each other. You are ignored. They will not ask other party for documents. They will not help or advise you. Once you pay £400 they will ignore you. We wish we researched company prior to agreeing. We are first time buyers and made a massive mistake. AVOID COUNTRYWIDE & CONVEYANCING CONNECT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Although we didn't use conveyancing connect they were suggested to us by the estate agents... after getting a quote of £3k (first time buyers) we got a quote from another company who for the same services quoted 1.5k. We refused to continue with them, however £400 was taken out of our account without agreeing to this or prior notice!!!!! it has now been 3 months trying to get this back and still no further movement. Do not even consider this company!

AVOID! WARNING. DO. NOT. USE. THESE SOLICITORS! Don't be fooled by anything these jokers say. If they say we will chase it, that means you are pushed to the back of the pile untill the next week. They are the laziest company I know of, no real drive to do anything productive until you threaten them with taking matters higher or legal action. Embarrassment

My solicitor went on holiday in the middle of me buying a property, without him handing over to another solicitor. So I had to wait while he comes back fresh from his holiday. And for any queries I had the answer was it wasn't part of his job, I had better chance of getting answer from estate agent
