I went to the Art Journaling workshop on Saturday morning and it was absolutely brilliant! Deborah is so skilled - I felt very safe to express myself. The pacing was perfect and we covered a lot in the hour and a half. Definitely good value for money! I would really encourage anyone who has even the slightest interest to just do it. It will be worth your time!

Look at her Instagram feed, her work is amazing. Her workshops are an exciting mix of messy play and imparting of sound knowledge. You get out what you put in, prepare to try everything and go with your creative flow. Over a year later and whilst I have moved on artistically I still use her sound methodology to freely journal and work through what life throws at me. Would highly recommend her.

I attended a “Marks and Movement” workshop which isn’t the sort of thing I would usually choose to do, but I wanted to try something different in terms of self care and self discovery. It certainly took me out of my comfort zone but I can honestly say I loved it 😊 Debs guided the session beautifully and was both encouraging and reassuring I had so much fun and really managed to switch off. The music was great and , for me, it was a fresh new way of enjoying a moving meditation. Highly recommend. Thank you Debs 🙏🏻

Very interesting, fun and emotionally freeing experience! I didn’t quite know what to expect, but Deborah directed us with expertise. We started warming up by moving/dancing to a carefully selected playlist. I didn’t feel self conscious as we all had our eyes closed. It was incredibly freeing to be totally in the moment and just focus on the movement. We then kept moving and used the mark making materials on large pieces of paper using charcoal and paints. I really felt like I was channeling my feelings through the music. I found it to be much more emotional than I expected. It was good to shift some feelings….with the added benefit of a mini-workout (you can be as energetic as you choose) Would definitely do again :)

I joined weeks 3 to 6 of a 6 week art journaling course at the wondeful venue of God's House Tower Southampton in October. I found myself very apprehensive about the process and was met with a very calm environment provided by Deb in which I could literally express exactly how I was and express it through the art journaling. We were taken through a number of new ways to create and add to our art journal in each session, and to have fun with the process. I loved the mindful marking especially done as a group and the caring environment in the group engendered by Deb. I am amazed at the visual results but more so at the sense of well being and enthusiasm I took away and still have.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 1:1 taster session with Deborah - it was a great intro to art journalling, and I am completely hooked already. Really recommend it to anyone looking for a creative outlet for their emotions, and Deborah guides you through the process with patience and kindness. A lovely thing to do.

I took part in workshops during lockdown 1.0 in 2020 which were immensely helpful for my wellbeing and was pleased to see that Debs launched further sessions in lockdown 3.0 (on Saturdays helpful as I am now working) which I have joined. Excellent value and it is a great investment in me-time. We all need an escape valve at the moment. Definitely felt the benefit from the most recent session. Thank you
