Lovely place in great countryside , evening meal excellent both nights. Breakfast 2nd day poor , no bread out to use toaster but toast came from kitchen , No croissants or yoghurts 2nd day and had to ask for replacement coffee as not Italian roast as advertised 1st day . Asked for water it never came Room nice and bed comfy but bathroom needs refurb, loose loo seat , mirror light not working , shower controls cheap and hard to operate , shower tray had black stains on silicone sealant , sink tap chain broken and bathroom mirror far too low to shave in comfort . Bedroom walls paper thin and can hear everything from next room , room also cold as only had tiny radiator . Would we stay again , probably not , needs to run on a more professional basis as family around bar all evening , ok if you like that kind of mixing but I expected more professionalism John

Lovely family friendly, dog friendly hotel and restaurant. We loved the bar lounge area with log burner and comfy seating. Separate dining rooms for dog friendly and no dogs, excellent idea, but be sure to book your table early. Bedrooms are comfy, and have everything you need for a short stay. Excellent location with stunning scenic views. Will visit again definitely.
