Creative escapes is an amazing company, Its holidays never disappoint, they are unique in every way. On my latest trip to Cuba, they sourced the coolest 5-star hotels with amazing breakfast and swimming pools. They always hunt out the very best places to eat in any given town or city with a fabulous mix of chic restaurants and local favorites all with the very best food. The trip itself is packed full of surprises like a behind-the-scenes photo shoot at the national ballet and trips on a local vintage train. Backstage passes to a boxing training session, as well as taking a vintage car tour of Havana to make sure you never miss a thing. All this and 1-2-1 photography tutoring from the wonderful Matt has truly helped take my photography to the next level. I would definitely recommend these holidays to any budding photographer who would love a travel adventure with super friendly, fun-loving, small groups of like-minded people.

Absolutely outstanding. Jon pushed me way beyond my comfort zone, and I have gained confidence to try other genres that I didn’t know I’d be good at, or even interested in. It was fun, it was interesting, had good food, and often good wine. I’ve already signed up for another trip, and will be signing up for more. Jon is incredibly patient, and I for one think he should be given a sainthood. If you want to become a better photographer, and have fun at the same time, then Creative Escapes is for you. 😊

The holiday to Kerala was fantastic and the one to one tuition opened up a whole new style of photography for me. Jon gave advice when needed and instilled confidence in everyone to experiment and push their level of photography further. Added to that a beautiful location, great food and luxurious accomodation meant the holiday was an unforgettable experience. Will definitely book another photography holiday with them.

Cuba has always been on the top of my list of places to go so when the opportunity came to finally go, I wanted to find the right people to introduce me to what is an amazing place. Creative Escapes are the right people to give you the right introductions. Matt or tutor was not just a great teacher, patient, encouraging while challenging us but he was also knowledgable in the art of navigating Cuba and all it's charms and quirks. Creative Escapes is a true small group trip with others that are there to "create" so your love of photography is shared and enjoyed by everyone. The best souvenirs to take home? Some amazing photos of an amazing place that you created youself.

"The best teachers are those who show you where to look but don't tell you what to see" ( AK Trenfor) sums up the CE experience. My trip to Cuba (November 2017) with CE was well thought out, included experiences that would not have been possible had I organised the trip myself and was a great 10 day experience with 7 other like minded people and a brilliant tutor. As a result I not only had one of my best travel experiences ever but I also produced some of my best photographs to date . My husband has been inspired to join me on their USA trip in May 2018. I can't wait!
