From checking in we were given a key card and upon entering the room a couple of women were already guests in the room and we were the ones apologising for the mistake. The male at reception apologised and explained that it was housekeeping fault as they hadn't informed him that the room was cleaned and in use. I find this unexcusable as it was 6pm and rooms are available from 3pm. It wasnt a great start, but the rest of the stay was fine when given a room on a higher floor. The breakfast was a warm buffet and also cereal and toast. Rooms: It was clean, but very warm as there is no a/c. There were water stains on the ceiling in the room and bathroom. We were in room 411.

Very very dirty, hotel is used as a dumping ground for homeless druggies it seems. You do not feel safe there. The breakfast was disgusting, poor quality and unhygienic. The staff were nice but seemed unskilled and unprofessional. Rooms : 1/5 | Service : 3/5 | Location : 1/5 … More

We had never heard of OYO hotels before but will certainly seek them out on future trips. Modern hotel situated in the heart of Sheffield. Context... This is a budget hotel. Stars and comments given in context of it being a budget hotel. NCP parking next door. Discounted fair residents. Friendly getting at reception. Quickly signed in. Room was clean. Great to see an iron and ironing board in the room. Other hotels offering a budget stay don't include. Quiet. Slept well. Woke in the morning. Rather hungover. Went down for breakfast. English breakfast buffet is basic but generous. Had a lot of food, coffee and orange juice to fuel fragile body. And yes... Photos for one. Hang over recovery fuel. My one and only issue was the eggs.... Asked for fried eggs. Return they arrived 10 minutes later this was cold. Not an issue. But the eggs were inedible. How do you mess up friend eggs? Bland. Over cooked. And egg yokes were very pale. Almost white. Assume cheapest eggs they could find. Buy better eggs and cook them properly. Or don't order fried eggs. Other than that was great. Great value. Great service. Great room... But shower could do with grout being replaced. I'd stay here again. Recommend

After I booked for 6 nights I read some of the reviews about the hotel and quite a few were negative, obviously we did worry a bit but we went anyway and I'm really glad we did, the young girl on reception when we arrived early let us park our car so we could go off and look around the town, when we went to check in it was very simply done within minutes,, they gave us a business class room with a king size bed, OK it was two 3ft singles put together but it was really comfortable, the room had so much space and was equipped with everything we needed,, the shower, sink toilet etc all worked perfectly, there was tea and coffee making facilities, the breakfast was great, it was thrown in with the price, brilliant, all you can eat and plenty of other options like toast, fresh fruit, cereal and crossoints, all in all we had a great 6 night stay, we had a bit of noise from the people above us, we phoned reception and they dealt with it straight away, the staff were all very friendly,, we will definitely stay again, thank you OYO for making our stay with you a great experience, take care

The room was decent.. However, they advertise mere cornflakes and pile of white bread as full English/Irish breakfast! I walked away from there in a few seconds and got my breakfast at a cafe elsewhere. If all you want is a place to sleep for the night, this hotel is ok, just save your time and don't bother stopping by for breakfast.
