    Took my nephews to the ‘big trouble at Christmas’ room and they loved it! Cathy was fantastic at explaining what to expect and making us very welcome - the escape room itself was challenging and very well put together, so inventive. Great experience and I would highly recommend

    We tried to escape from the Secret Hut, it was very fun and challenging, Cathy was very friendly and helpful, we really felt immersed in the WWII theme, and I really enjoyed the fun and interesting puzzles, the room was extremely detailed and the plot was engaging. I also really appreciate how Cathy took the time to explain the rest of the puzzles (we didn't quite escape the room in time), and what we were missing, and she also provided some feedback for improving our escape rooming for future escape rooms. I couldn't recommend Don't Get Locked In Escape Rooms more.

    We did an escape room for the first time (the Secret Hut) and it was an excellent experience. The room is set in the 1940s during World War II and funny enough, we had gone to Bletchley Park in MK earlier that day. Great fun, even though we didn't manage to escape and Cathy was a fantastic host. We will be back for more.

    We played Extortion, which is a room designed for up to 8 people. It is less linear than most escape rooms, so everyone can be doing something simultaneously. We were a group of 7 adults with previous experience of escape rooms. + Summer was fantastic, and explained it clearly before we went in. She didn't interfere unless we asked her to and took the time at the end to explain how we had done (even going through her notes to find how long different aspects took us) and talk about other ways we could have solved the puzzles. Much better than any guide we've had before. + Puzzles were challenging and varied, and therefore satisfying. We did need hints at times - hints were not too obvious. + Interesting structure: without giving too much away, this isn't your average spot-a-padlock-and-hunt-down-the-key room. + Made great use of some features and equipment I haven't seen in an escape room before. + Opportunity for dressing up, always a bonus. + Prizes available. + Reasonably priced with parking nearby. - Storyline and theme were a little bit weak/ underdeveloped. I prefer a strong, memorable theme or plot but here it felt like the set and story were sometimes driven by the puzzles rather than the other way round. Not awful, just room for improvement. Overall, a good room improved further by excellent staff. I will definitely be coming back to try out some of the other rooms.
