  Absolutely Superb! We had freestanding wardrobes built many years ago and were and are still beautiful, also had the most amazing kitchen built, totally bespoke and perfect along with a scaffold board table and bench, the craftsmanship is unbeatable! We have recently moved house and had fitted wardrobes and understairs cupboard built and will go nowhere else apart from Dove Furniture for our next kitchen, Kim Craig and Rich are superb in what they do and cannot recommend them highly enough!

  Fantastic product, very well made. Craig is highly skilled and never fails to design, manufacture and build to a high quality. Kim is a joy to work with, and is always on hand to help. I have recommended Dove to my friends and family.

  Dreadful experience with this company with the worst customer relations I have ever experienced. When picking the product they were great super friendly, very helpful, we were delighted to order a reclaimed scaffold board worktop as the centrepiece of our new kitchen. They were very busy and we agreed that our joiner would fit, he even spoke to dove to confirm what he planned to do, the lady was very helpful with this. All was good, the top arrived and it looked fantastic. Unfortunately within a week it started to split in 4 separate places across the grain, we ended up with a split across the board 15mm wide. I contacted Dove and they said it must have been due to the joiner as he cut into the board (as had previously been discussed and agreed). Dove offered to fix the top but only if I would pay a £100 collection charge as it was not their fault, I was shocked and suggested we all meet on site (we are 30 mins away), me, the joiner and Dove, they would not meet on site and just said what they delivered was perfect and it was the joiners fault. I contacted trading standards, they suggested we meet them on site (they refused again, it could not be them) they suggested I ask if Dove used an arbitration agent (they don't), they then said my only option was to get a third party professional opinion. At my cost I brought in a scaffold board expert years experience). He said that the fault was due to the wood not being died out properly. He offered to contact Dove and speak to them as an expert. They ignored everything he said and again refused to acknowledge any possibility of blame. Luckily for me on this occasion the expert was able to advise my joiner how to make a fix at a similar cost to the collection charge, he assured me if the top was removed the damage would probably be much worst. By now I had no faith at all in Dove and we did the fix ourselves, it is still split but at least no gap. My experience of Dove is if all goes well they are great and all smiles, any problem at all and you are on your own. I am perfectly happy to share the email trail of my experience with anyone interested.

  Having used this company for many years, i am again extremely happy with my new kitchen suppled and fitted by Craig and the team. Though out the years Kim and Craig have always gone over and above to make sure all my needs have been met. Thanks again guys, I will be back for my bedroom furniture soon!!

  Great service quality and value from an independent bespoke manufacturer. I first bought a kitchen from Kim and Craig 6 years ago and it looks as good now as the day I bought it - have since commissioned two full fitted wardrobes and recommended to friends who have also been very happy with their kitchen. Recommended!

  Over the last few years, my wife and I have used Dove Furniture and Kitchens on a number of occasions. Generally, the work they do is good. However, the way they treated us as customers was really bad. We were frequently given the runaround and fobbed off with excuses about why work couldn't start when it was originally scheduled to. Sometimes the work wouldn't start for weeks. Emails they supposedly sent would mysteriously never arrive, but oddly enough the emails requesting payment always arrived just fine! The lady you speak to always seems to have an excuse. What's compelled us to leave this review now however was a recent experience where some 9ft sliding doors they fitted came away from the sliding rail they were attached to, nearly falling on my wife and one year old. Unable to move the doors ourselves, we secured them as well as we could by bracing the doors with a ladder and contacted Dove to ask if they could come and make it safe. They initially agreed to come and visit, but immediately the excuses started again and after the third time of chasing (doors still precariously propped up by a ladder at this point with us having to navigate around it whilst carrying a one year old up and down the stairs), we lost patience with them and ended up having a very heated phone conversation where I was called arrogant amongst other things. Their position was twofold: Firstly, the rail to which the doors were fitted was preexisting and therefore what had happened was not their responsibility (despite me pointing out that we never actually requested that the existing rail be used) and secondly, that the fact it had lasted a whopping 18 months before failing was proof that the railing was in fact fit for purpose and that this was "normal wear and tear" (bear in mind they haven't even been out to see it at this point). Despite promising to come and make it safe, they never did, so we had to get a friend round to help us lift them off. We still haven't sorted it. There's one other thing I'd like to mention: If you go to their website, you'll see on the front page a photograph under the heading "Reclaimed Scaffold Shelves". These shelves, including the poles, were bought by my wife from eBay and assembled and fitted by myself. At no point did Dove Kitchens have any involvement with them whatsoever. Nor did they request permission to take the photo or pass it off on their website as their own work. At the time, we let this slide because it predated our incident with the sliding doors, but I think this underlines a culture of dishonesty at Dove Kitchens. I'm surprised to see that at the time of writing there are no other reviews for Dove Kitchens despite them being in business for a number of years. In summary I would say: use these guys if you can't find an alternative, but do be prepared to wait a long time to get the work done.
