I cannot tell you how happy I have been with my treatment. To give you a backstory. I had a bad tooth after 30 years of a filling that was put there in my childhood. I assumed it was a straight forward root canal after suffering already for 2 weeks and being on antibiotics. Turns out my tooth had calcified roots (where long term fillings can cause tooth bone to grow over root canals or thereabouts). That meant the NHS dentist couldn’t perform a complete root canal for all the roots in my tooth and I was referred away to a specialist. This is after he tried for 80 minutes with my mouth and jaw agape. Suffering with a continuous tooth ache now for 3 weeks, no eating trouble sleeping on constant pain relief which didn’t do anything, I finally get the consultant office to call to book me in after 1.5 months for an initial consultation at £85! They then tell me that it will be at this consultation to discuss my issues which by the way may not be resolved depending on the severity of the problem of my roots (mind not to treat as I am still in pain as we speak) and then that they will not be able to see me for a further 3 months before the 1st treatment and possibly a second one another 2 months down the line!!!’ And all this on private and with the kind offer of £900! That meant I could have my crown fitted either for another 8 months! So not only was I going to have to wait a full 6 months before anything can actually be done I have to pay £900 for something they tell me may not even be effective (that’s what you want to hear holding your cheek all day!) Now I am not a kid I understand that things aren’t always guaranteed but I was shocked that they were so helpless to help me because it was so booked up apparantly! Paying for this!!!! AND despite the fact I couldn’t function on a day to day basis with an agonising painful tooth IMAGINE they expected me to wait 6 months!!!. There had to be another way now I was happy to pay a but more but I needed treatment now!!! So Dr Druttmen showed up on my browser and I thought I had nothing to loose. My dentist stressed that they only referred me to someone they have been working with so couldn’t guarantee anyone else like dr Druttman! But as soon as I called Dr Druttmens office I was first treated like a human being! The secretary showed understanding and compassion to my agony and to my delight they were happy to see me almost immediately within a week providing I carried on with ky antibiotics! The cost was slightly higher at £1200 But I knew I was going to be seen AND treated no silly consultation first, my dentists notes were enough. I asked if I needed more than 1 appointment but was reassured that Dr Druttman was experienced for 40 years or thereabouts and it was all going to be fine 1st time. After a week I finally got to the surgery, my tooth still throbbing. At first I thought oh god this dentist is a bit too quick in his approach. He sat me in the chair immediately there was no messing around and got to work. It was a hands on approach no fidgeting everything was done quick and fast not like at my own dentist, and all I could think about is this better work! But to my delight it did. My tooth was sore for a day and two after but I was able to diction eat normally and obviously carefully as to not cause it to crack. He prepped it ready for my crown fitting. I cannot believe was asked by another consultant to wait 6-8 months before being seen or treated when a tooth ache is so unbearable and expected to pay for it!!!’ I highly recommend Dr Druttman and will hope he won’t be looking to retirement too soon. He is an amazing dentist and his secretary is lovely. Not to mention I agreed to pay in instalments and unlike other private treatments where they chase you to death until you pay - I was happy to call and remind them for my outstanding payment. This shows true trust and competence in their services. They know their clients aren’t there to rob them or visa versa! It’s s genuine caring service which you are only thankful to pay happily!!! Absolutely fantastic.. please read on.. I had my root canal treatment earlier today with Mr Druttman. I'm a very nervous and extremely sensitive to pain so I had been putting off my root canal on my front tooth for ten years. I did lots of research about endodontist and decided on Mr Druttman. I'm so glad I did. He was very patient with me, before during and after the procedure. Mr Druttman made me feel at ease and answered any questions I had. And there was no pain at all absolutely pain Free. Honestly I really must stress that this was the most pleasant visit I've ever had regarding any dental work. Highly recommend Mr Druttman and his team. Everyone was extremely lovely . Thank you all.

I came to Dr. Druttman as an emergency for a root canal treatment having found him via Google. He managed to see me within 24h following my enquiry. Not only has he successfully treated me the next day but he also treated a decade long infection in my upper gums that other specialists have given up on and told me I just have to live with it and manage the pain. I can’t recommend Dr. Druttman and his staff enough. I would never see anyone but him again. Thank you so much!
