Dr Melanie Edwards . What a wonderful lady she is I was recommended to this highly skilled dentist as I had a vast amount of restoration work to have done. On my first meeting I was made to feel at home by Melanie and her dental nurse Emma . I underwent a very full and in depth examination of all my dental problems xrays ,photographs, measure ments ect, and she explained what my problems were and why! She told me it was going to be a long job but assured me it would all be worth it when finished it was then early in 2016 and I told her I would like to smile at my daughters Wedding in August as I would be giving her away and with my teeth in the state they were I didn't have much hope , but she would put my smile back in time for the wedding so the appointments were made and treatment began. It was a very long job but even with all i had done i never had any pain Just a little discomfort and as she worked away each appointment I found myself happy to have been to the dentist.and by the time the wedding was here I definitely had a smile to be proud of.Dr Melanie is a superb Dentist and a Artist in her Craft.Even though I had more appointments to finish my treatment this wonderful lady had done what she promised and, GIVEN ME MY SMILE BACK, Thank you so much Dr Melanie and your caring assistant Emma . My Implant took longer than average to heal, due to myself having had surgery on that part of the gum several years before and so for about 6 months i had to wear a denture...! ! this experience if nothing else really bought home to me why i was having "Implant surgery" in the first place .... i HATED wearing the denture and could not imagine wearing it for the rest of my life... To create a flawless look to my front teeth Dr Edwards also replaced one of my front teeth crowns.. and while these were being made she made me some beautiful temporary teeth... the final fitting was painless and the final results OUTSTANDING..!.! i am truly delighted...the whole process took about 14 months .. and that is unusual but i had a damaged gum and the healing process and the bone growing around the Implant took longer.... because of this, But i am confident that the Implant will last me for life... I was not a general dental patient at this surgery i was seen privately for "Implant" surgery...I would give Dr Melanie Edwards a five Star rating for the treatment i received while under her care.. and would recommend her Without hesitation should you be considering a Dental Implant as i feel i received a truly " Bespoke " treatment by a true Professional who only wanted the BEST outcome for me..

Like a lot of people 'the dentist' is not my most favourite place to spend my time, a reason why I chose to put time and effort into finding a dentist who's right for me. I had been thinking about getting cosmetic treatment on my teeth for many years and decided that if I was going to voluntarily spend time at the dentist, it had to be with someone I felt comfortable with and trusted. After visiting Melanie for a consultation where she explained my options thoroughly and details of the procedure, I decided to go ahead. I visited Melanie a second time to have impressions taken and was given a whitening kit to complete a 14 day treatment prior to the main appointment. On the day of the main appointment and treatment, Melanie and her team were warm, welcoming and professional. She explained the procedure and took before and after photos so we could both fully appreciate the end result. I was offered anaesthetic but decided to try without and even though I was completely pain free throughout the procedure, Melanie stopped regularly to make sure I was not in any discomfort. She also listened to comments I made and adapted her work accordingly. I felt relaxed, comfortable and able to communicate with Melanie throughout the treatment and couldn't be happier with the end result! I just wish I hadn't of waited so long to make the decision! Thank you x

Firstly took me three weeks to see Melanie Edwards....that's a good thing she is in demand..! I sought advice and inspection as i had a broken tooth and had been advised elsewhere that i was in need of an "Implant". The surgery offers off road parking and I was seen within 7 mins of my appointment time.. the surgery is Spotless and Melanie Edwards and her staff are professional and warm.. i was advised of all my options and i have opted for an "Implant".. the procedure will take 6 months. The good news is all the work can be done "in-house"... The overall cost is over £3000...Its competitive..! and that does cover a lot of appointments, surgery.. denture, implant...a new crown and im assured the tooth will last me a lifetime.. today i had the infected tooth removed.... ..It was quick, and painless and again i was seen with 6 mins of my appointment time..!I was given a Numbing gel prior to injection that helped with the injections into the front teeth.... So far IMPRESSIVE! Update: Tuesday 25th July Went into the surgery to have my implant fitted today, Again seen within 5 mins of arriving,.. Had numbing gel.. before injections and although the overall operation took over an hour i can honestly say it was "Painfree" Dr Edwards and her team were reassuring and professional.. and i was given a through discussion on how to take care of my implant and stitches while it was healing...... Plus antibiotics and painkillers and a sterile rinse.. Mouth felt a little tender when i got home But nothing unexpected, and easily sorted with Paracetamol.
