Absolutely horrible staff. After bringing all the necessary documents on their website we were told to go back and rebook. Next appointment was 2 months away. Staff also yelled at my wife and tried to confiscate her passport. Worst embassy experience of my life.

I had an very unpleasant experience using visa services from this Embassy, and I wish there was a way to give zero stars. However, I must acknowledge that the security man working there is the only competent person I encountered. Unfortunately, I would advise against using the Embassy's visa services if you are not of European ethnic origin. In my experience, the behaviour was unprofessional and disgusting. To begin with, the Embassy only accepts cash payments, which is strange and dodgy, especially when compared to my local takeaway that accepts card payments. Be prepared to walk for 23 minutes to the nearest cash machine to withdraw the required amount. Additionally, the front desk ADMIN staff will subject you to questioning about your personal circumstances as if it is an interview, which is contrary to application rules. They may even call you a liar and question your intent for applying for a visa, implying that you may overstay. After all, who in their right mind would want to overstay in SLOVAKIA when they live in the UK? 😩 Utter madness!
