Was trying for weeks to get through to ask what was needed for passport renewal. Couldn't get through on phone lines so 3 weeks later had to travel to London to hand in documentation and pay. Was told I would be sent an email when passport was ready. Still waiting so called to ask what progress is. Waited on phone for over 2 hours going from caller 7 to caller 1 just to be disconnected at 12.50. How is anyone supposed to get the official documentation required when this consulate has so little respect for its citizens. It is disgusting that a public office can act in this way

Thanks to the amazing help, flexibility and support from M. Adlen, I was able to renew my passport, get a new passport for my new born, specially that I live in Ireland and had to do everything online as I wasnt able to travel to London. He was always available to answer, and help on the process.

Applied for a new Tunisian passport for my wife using passport application documents from the 90's. I sent the application several weeks prior to our journey to Tunisia. With a few days before our flights and continued delays and lack of response from the Embassy, I flew to London from Northern Ireland. The staff informed me that the passport was processed that day and would be ready for collection upon my arrival. When I arrived - no passport. The hunt was on! They looked through the piles of files on the floor. It wasn't amongst the passports and biometric cards shoved against the perspex screen. It wasn't hidden behind the 2016 calendar that still adorned the office door. Some two hours later it was found! Or was it? No, it wasn't found because it was never made as I was told over the phone. They had made the passport there and then whilst I waited in the waiting room - the issue date was proof of this. An absolute shambles and the staff need a good kick up the backside. The lot of them need replacing as they are clearly resting on their laurels. Probably got the job because of family contacts or a little handful of cash to the right person - they are clearly not qualified for the service that they are supposed to provide. Never again!

As a Palestinian residing in the UK, I recently applied for a visa to visit my brother in Tunisia. However, my experience with the Tunisian Embassy has been extremely unpleasant and discriminatory. Despite submitting my application on February 8th and being informed that application takes up to 5 weeks to be issued, I was met with unhelpful responses when following up on the status of my application. I contacted the embassy multiple times, but were given vague responses and no clear timeline for when the visa would be issued. When I mentioned my Palestinian identity, the embassy informed me that the process would take even longer, but could not provide me with any specific information. During a phone call, the embassy even hung up on me, adding to my frustration. This lack of transparency and clear communication is unacceptable, and only adds to the discriminatory treatment I have received throughout this process. I have since contacted the authorities in Tunis through my brother for further information on the status of my visa application, but the response I received was equally unhelpful. They simply told me to wait a few more weeks without providing any further clarification or details. This experience constitutes a clear violation of human rights, and I intend to escalate the matter to the relevant authorities. I plan to contact the Tunisian Ambassador and Palestinian authorities in London to report the discriminatory treatment I received. If necessary, I am prepared to take legal action to ensure that this kind of discrimination does not happen again. I urge the authorities to take appropriate action and ensure that all individuals are treated with respect and dignity regardless of their background. Discrimination has no place in our society, and it is crucial that we take a stand against it in all its forms.
