    We went this afternoon for my husbands birthday. Was warmly greeted at the door. I think our servers name was Andrew. He was very well spoken and polite. We ordered the plate of Italian meats to start. A bit expensive for thinly sliced meats, but All delicious, especially the chorizo. 7.9/10. The mains we got the bolognese and pesto pistachio pastas. Pesto tasted how good pesto SHOULD taste. Earthy, aromatic and balanced. Tomatoes nicely cooked, sweet and acidic. Pasta perfectly cooked. 9.7/10. (Viral TikTok)Bolognese was a big win. Freaking delicious. You can taste the effort that went into it. Meat & sauce is delicious. Also pasta perfectly cooked. 12/10. The waiter said to us he tried to find a candle for my husband to blow out but he ran out (which was so sweet!) but he gave us our gelato on the house for his birthday. Which was a lovely treat. We’re really hard up for money right now, I saved for a long time for my hubbys treat meal, and so this warmed our hearts. The gelato was SO GOOD! Creamy mascarpone was smooth and delicious. 10/10. Pistachio gelato was insane, No skimp on the nuts and a strong natural pistachio punch. 12/10 Andrew had great menu knowledge and gave great recommendations. We will definitely return again.     We went to Emilia’s because it has been recommended to us a few times, and our expectations haven’t only been met, but exceeded! The food there beats everything. We ordered the Burrata as a starter, which came with freshly made sourdough and high quality olive oil. I had the Truffled Cacio e Pepe and my fiancée the handmade ravioli. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and one of the best pastas we’ve had in our entire lifetime! Their Emilia’s signature dessert was also a 10/10. If you’re in London and looking for authentic, handmade Italian food Emilia’s is the place to be! The staff is also pleasant natured and very friendly, and will give you recommendations if you’re not sure about what to order or if you don’t know something of the menu.

    Great service but with soso food. Their Burrata and Beef Pappardelle was decent! Lamb Ravioli had a strong gamey taste and too soft and their homemade tomato sauce was wayyy too sour - the Radiatori pasta was also too soft sadly for this dish.

    We ordered the bolognese and carbonara which I think many other reviewers also ordered as a combination. In my opinion, there was a bit too much pancetta and not enough pasta in the carbonara, which might have been why I found it a little saltier than I was expecting. The bolognese was really nice though. The portions were also smaller than expected for the price but it’s likely due to the fact that they’re a more ethical and sustainable restaurant.
