My biggest fear prior to filming was that I would be so anxious that I would not be able to articulate myself clearly, or that nerves would make me babble on and that I would not come across very well. Thankfully this didn’t happen. Esther was very good at putting me at ease and helping me to relax into the process. She took the pressure away and I found that I was able to get across the key things that I wanted to express. I think my favourite part of the film and photo shoot was going out into the landscape to film. It was lovely to be able to share one of my favourite places with Esther (and, thus, with viewers of the film). I am probably most at ease when I am outside, in a wide open space, under a big sky! I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Esther, whether for your business, or for personal projects (she makes beautiful family films too). Esther’s work is both sensitive and powerful. She is wonderful visual story teller and her films and photographs are made with care and great skill, perfectly capturing the emotion behind the narrative. I had never done anything like this before and would describe myself as quite camera shy, but Esther made the sessions easy by giving me clear directions, and making it fun. She was professional and friendly and a joy to work with. I am so happy with the films and photos that Esther has produced for me. I have been thinking for some time that it would be good for my art practice to share more of me, rather than just my work. Having the photos and films has given me the confidence to take the plunge and do this. The photos have given my new website a professional, yet personal feel. The films are helping me to reach out and explain to my existing audience what I do and why I do it. Both will help me to reach out to a new, broader audience too. I have received wonderful feedback on the films and the photographs from many people. All in all, I am so glad that I was able to work with Esther. If you are thinking of getting photos, or a film done, I urge you to look her up and take the plunge - she is wonderful to work with and is a truly talented master of her craft.
