Be aware of the owner of the shop. He is a real scammer, everything there is overcharged. Save your money and go somewhere else.

So 10 pound for consultation only, I mean ok. My Dr. was nice. She said accupuncture and herbal medicine would be needed. Upstairs they wanted over 900 pounds for herbs that‘ll last 13 weeks. Honestly, it felt like a rip-off. And nobody even offered at least the second option accupunture for a more reasonable price. And if it was really about my well-being, they could‘ve at least given me the list of herbs. So I might have tried to get them myself for cheaper or anything. In conclusion, my husband and I just payed 20 pounds for telling them about our health issues and someone listened and that‘s it. Even the consultation was rushed, I only talked about two problems but I didn‘t have time to tell her about more issues. Yeah, we are tourists and don‘t know about Chinese medicine. But we are human, we were only seeking help, plus we are obviously not rich.

I came here with a friend of mine, she went to pick up some medicine, she didn't tell me what for, and when she came out she was very upset and was very reluctant to tell me why. We went for food, and eventually she told me that she had a personal issue relating to a pharmaceutical medication she had taken. She was experiencing an aftereffect that she was very worried about. The person she had a consultation with in the shop had sold her on £300 worth of herbs, and in her fear she bought it using her dad's card as she could not afford it with her own. She was now very upset because she realised that she would have to explain things to her dad, which, given the nature of the medication, and what her dad is like, was a very uncomfortable prospect for her. I looked up the medication online, and also asked some female friends about it, and it turns out that the symptoms she was experiencing were completely normal side effects, side effects that the "doctor" at this place, upon seeing my friend's great concern, had assured her required £300 of herbs to treat. My friend is young, quite shy, and very uncomfortable with conflict, but I managed to convince her to go in again with me and get a refund, if not for the consultation, then surely for the herbs. We went inside and there was an exchange in mandarin which was rounded off with the two shopkeeps (the manager and the practitioner, an older Chinese man and woman) both talking at her, over each other, in continuous streams, while she remained silent. She quickly became deeply uncomfortable and decided to leave. I was not satisfied with this and tried to get us back inside, this time to take part in the conversation myself, but she was already very discomforted by the situation at this point, so I went in by myself to talk to them, and ended up speaking with the manager. I explained the situation to him, right down to my friend's dad's card, but he asserted multiple times the herbs were already mixed and could not be taken back, and also that I "did not understand" (perhaps because theirs is not a practice from my culture?), and that they had been there for 20 years and thus knew what they were doing (flawless logic). My desire to be polite ran out the moment I felt a refund was hopeless, and I simply got up and left mid conversation. He insisted he wanted to come and speak to my friend, I told him multiple times that we did not want to speak to him, but he followed me out and came to speak to her in spite of her clear discomfort, clearly wanting to frame things in a way that would maximise the chance of retaining her as a future spender. I HOPE that these guys think they are helping and are simply ignorant of the ordinary side effects of common pharmaceutical medications, and that their herbs and their expertise are, in their mind, appropriately priced. I HOPE they believe they are doing what is best for their customer, and using the customer's trust in them as appropriately as they know how. On the other hand, perhaps I am simply being paranoid, but I got the strong sense that the practitioner, wearing a doctor's coat so as to appear authoritative, willfully took advantage of my friend's obvious anxiety and exploited her trust in them in order to convince her to spend an extortionate £300 on medicine that she could not afford in order to treat a completely normal and harmless side effect of a common pharmaceutical medication. You've heard my story, you can make your mind up for yourself.

I suffered from piriformis syndrome for two years and had all kinds of treatments and massages. One massage from Cindy and the condition was 80% better. A month later I had a second treatment and the condition is cured. Absolutely amazing skill, plus kindness and understanding. Just booked my next visit - and I live in Cornwall!

The people working in this shop (I do not know if one of them is the shopowner or not) are thieves in the first sense of the word. Not because they products are too expensive, but because they actually stole my bag when I went there. I have never seen this before. I went there with two bags on my shoulders. I sat one of the chairs to look at two different products between which I hesitated, and put my bags on one of the chairs next to me. I bought the product, went out of the shop forgetting one of the two bags. I realized this after 10 minutes and called them. They denied that they had any bag on the phone. I went back in person, they denied again. One of the staff members told me that they had "many clients" (the shop was empty both times when I went), alluding to the fact that it could have been stolen by one of the clients. Her colleague, however, told me that she had "checked CCTV" and that nobody stole the bag. Ultimately they all agreed that "there was never any bag". One of the two woman looked very ill at ease though, as if she had a conscience. The other one was extremely rude and sure of herself. I called the police but they would not help me because the bag did not contain valuable items such as a credit card or a passport. Know that they are thiefs and avoid this shop. I am so shocked. It has happened to me to even forget my Iphone in a shop, and the shopowner gave it back to me. Never in my life have I met such dishonest sellers. They may have sold the bag and its content (clothes and umbrella) through their networks. Who knows. In any case, they are proper thieves and should be avoided.

Very good experience. I had a package of acupuncture sessions with Dr Zhuang for my lower back pain, which is very very effective. I feel that my pain was obviously reduced. I will definitely recommend my friends to be here. Next time I will try their deep tissue massage.
