AVOID!! I stayed in one of Expressbnb's apartments in Salford Quays (Manchester) in December. On arrival, Aurelien showed us around the apartment and all five of us heard him saying that previous guests had damaged the blinds in the lounge so we should not use them. I was then charged £120 on my credit card for damage to the blinds! Calls, emails and text messages were initially answered but as soon as I pointed out what Aurelien had told us, all communication stopped. Shockingly unprofessional! We booked through booking dot com, and interestingly Expressbnb are no longer taking bookings through booking dot com, but I see they are on other platforms e.g. ebookers. The apartment and location were great, so it's a real shame the experience has been tainted by a false accusation and the time I am now having to spend trying to recover the money they have taken.

AVOID! Terrible, dishonest company! I stayed at one of the Salford Quays apartments from the 14th-16th December with some of my family and friends. The apartment was lovely and we were shown around by Aurelian on arrival who was very helpful and seemed very genuine as he apologised for one of the living room blinds being broken and the other one missing completely. He said not to use them, so we didn't. Unfortunately, when we had left, my brother Ben was charged on his credit card for the damage that Aurelian had pointed out on arrival that was caused by previous guests. My brother has tried to solve this in a very professional and calm manner and initially he had some contact from both Aurelian and Karen, but this very quickly ceased when Ben asked Aurelian if he remembered pointing out the damage. There may be a case of severe Alzheimers here I suppose - in which case, I wish them a speedy recovery. I think it's more likely though, that they are just utter cowboys! I highly recommend you avoid this company at all costs, but if you are tempted, just make sure you take photos of all damage you can find and hope for the best!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - AVOID! Having had problems with cleaners for our Air BnB property we were keen to find an alternative. On the day of the first booked clean, we asked to be informed when the cleaner arrived at the property. We heard nothing and tried to contact Express BnB. Aurelian was in charge of the booking but refused to answer his phone. Lewis, his deputy tried to help but had no authority to book anything else so could only try to contact Aurelian. We ended up having to rush to the property to clean it ourselves. When Aurelian finally called back, he was so unbelievably rude on the phone, saying that he had been in Manchester and couldn't have been expected to help when the cleaner was ill. When I suggested that this was precisely what he should have been able to do, he hung up the phone on me. It then took 2 weeks and two chasing emails to get our deposit back. SHOCKING.
