I have been shopping at F.Hinds Darlington for a number of years and have bought a number of watches from the shop. The staff are always helpful & welcoming. Knowledgeable of their products and if I have rarely had a problem it has been dealt with efficiently. Yesterday I had a clip added to a ring to stop it falling off.

Arrived at 09.00 am from a distance to collected watch having checked website for opening times only to find shop shut for "Staff Training" Poor communication cost me valuable time away from sick relative. Not good, very unhappy. Town centre stores do not deserve to succeed

I Bought 2 Sekonda watches from the window display, within 10 months i replaced the Batteries, i was Unable to push the rear cover plate on Both watches, first time the Lady in the shop, takes the watch and uses a "Cover Watch Press", job done in 1 Minute. Second time, this Month i meet a Different female employee, Explain what has happened, She goes into a Rant about i should have taken out a "Lifetime Battery Cover" at £18.50 ?? and then they would do all the Work, When you buy a watch, you do Not take out a Contract that the Shop will replace £1 Batteries for £6 - £10, do You?, Her mood gets more Angry as she Refuses for me to meet the Manager or for someone to Put the rear cover plate on, Really poor Customer Service and if the Company i work for Acted like this, We would Not be a FTSE 500 Company and She would be Re-Trained or asked to leave our Employment, on Another Note maybe the Sekonda watches were Defective?,
