Had my first surf lesson yesterday at Fistral Surf School and for the whole 2 hours I didn’t stop smiling! To start with the facilities are great, changing rooms with lockers which are ideal and they even give you tokens to use the showers afterwards which was nice to soak up some hot water after being in the cold sea. Nik was our instructor who was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour which made our whole experience fun but also progressive too! There was also a photographer out there with us for the session who took some awesome photos for us which we could buy if we wanted to. For £45 with wetsuits, surf shoes and surfboard included as well, you cannot beat it. Thank you to the staff at Fistral Surf School. I will most definitely be back soon.

Hired a board for two days and had a private lesson. I had never surfed before and George was amazing at teaching me and really picked up on all of the tips I could use to improve, definitely putting it down to him that I was stood quickly. Can’t recommend these guys enough. They know their stuff, very friendly and you can tell they just love what they do.

Just hired boards in September '22 but the guys were great, a wealth of knowledge and info. Helped us ID the kind of boards we had used before and were also more than happy to swap them out as often as needed until we found ones that worked. With it's location I was concerned it could be a bit of a tourist trap and while their prices a few £ more than elsewhere its gotta be worth it to not need to lug the board quite as far. All good and would hire here again.

Tom took me and my wife for a surf lesson, in October. Clearly being natural born sportsmen we took to it like a duck to water! (Not!) but Tom was excellent at getting us to catch waves, and even helped my wife to get her first standing wave on our first lesson! Facilities were good, wetsuit hire included, and even a shower afterwards. I thought prices reasonable too. See you again soon!

Had a beginner surf lesson here it was a amazing experience. Charlie the instructor was ace, very patient and made it fun. All the gear was ready and waiting and the changing rooms have lockers for your gear. Hot showers are available after if you need them.
