G E Hartley and Son steered my family through the painful process of organising our Mum's funeral in Covid times with utmost professionalism and compassion from the start. The staff are all helpful, patient and kind. I must give a special mention to James who was our personal undertaker and thank him for his calm and friendly care at such a difficult time. During 2020 Hartleys helped with the funerals of both my Nan and Grandad which were sadly very close together. Grandad's funeral was especially hard as it took place during the Covid crisis. My Mum and I could not have been happier with the service we received for both funerals through the entire process. At all times Hartley's were friendly, helpful, understanding, compassionate and professional and we felt that they made a difficult time more manageable for us. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartleys to anyone needing funeral services in the East Leeds area and extend my thanks and appreciation to Russel, Stuart and everyone else who helped us from there this year.
