I won a bid of a gymn equipment advertised in the store, when i went to pick it up there was a lady who assisted loading, horrible attitude, attitude that the heart foundation does not deserve at all. She has to understand that this country is multinational therefore, is her duty to serve wiithout bias..bad experience indeed.

I will be using this charity again. Great service from beginning to end. I was allowed to browse the shop at my leisure and purchasing the items was a 5 min job. The 2 delivery guys were also excellent, brought my purchases up 3 flights of stairs for me. Called me regularly on the morning of delivery, to keep me informed of what was happening. Excellent service, thank you.

Bought a 400 pound bed. 200 for mattress and 200 for frame. Slats have snapped twice (replaced the first time) and the bed is meant to be one of their brand new ones. The bed frame came bent out of shape and is hardly worth the money. Delivery drivers are care less and left 300 pounds worth of furniture in a communal hallway practically blocking another remnants Front door. Would never recommend this store to anyone.

We donated a piece of furniture to this charity shop earlier this year & gave the 2 lovely polite guys our details when they came to pick up the item so they could claim gift aid if there’s a tax payer in the house on the sales, we then recieved a lovely email saying they had sold the furniture & to thank us for our donation, so a few weeks ago we donated 3 pre- Lit xmas trees, 1electric sewing machine, 1 sky box with remote, 1 music 3 cd music system still in original box & almost new, 1 real Xmas tree stand, & a few other items, we went to the back entrance & we asked if they wanted them & 2 guys lifted 1 item each out of our car then disappeared leaving us to empty the rest our selves, after emptying the car a not very friendly woman in the back just said leave it all there & that’s what has annoyed me, no one asked us for any details or gave us any thanks for our items & this has now put us off bringing anymore donations to BHF in future, we will give to a more thankful charity in future as now we won’t know if all or any of our items have been sold on.
