PLEASE NOTE ….., the company you are dealing with is only trading as G Charlesworths & son so don’t expect the same personal caring service as once given by Marc & his father I think this is misleading as the firm is now Dignity funerals a company with many branches nationwide. The whole process from start to finish seemed very matter of fact to me , it felt like we could have been purchasing a car , not arranging a cremation.

ABSOLUTELY APPAULING SERVICE. I rang Charlesworths to discuss the funeral of my aunt after she had been taken by them from the care home only to be told that they didnt have her resting with them. For two hours I rang everyone I could think of to try and locate her. I rang the call centre that Charlesworth use, only to be told by the call handler was going to limit my expectations. As I told them, my only expectation at that time was that they had my aunt resting with them.Can you imagine two hours of trauma at such a distressing time. I then received a call from a supervisor who was busy telling me that he was working at a different office that day and that they did have her after all, and that the woman I had spoken to originally hadnt informed him of my complaint re a missing aunty for two hours. If I could give a minus star mark I would. Such a unbelievable experience. Obviously theres not a way in this world that I could ever pass a positive comment about this company.
