Working with Rex Chalmers at Garrington was the single best decision that my partner and I made in our home search. This was our second purchase in London, so we knew some of the challenges going in: wonky properties, crazy bidding wars, stressful negotiations, weird historical artefacts, complicated chains, and many other challenges. Rex was an amazing ally throughout the process, serving as negotiator, coach, advocate and champion. He helped us identify properties to view, knew the right questions to ask when we viewed them, took videos of our viewings which we could review later, and negotiated with the selling agents on our behalf. Once we had an offer accepted, he worked tirelessly to keep things on track and get us to an on-time completion. Before we instructed Rex, we had been trying for 9 months without success to sell our starter home and buy a new place. With Rex, we quickly sold our flat, found an amazing home, and got to exchange of contracts.
