For years, and to their and my shame, a jewellery bag in a dusty drawer had held the well-worn and chipped wedding and engagement rings that I inherited from my mother. Having joyfully found my own bride, and so in need of fresh rings, we contemplated the possibility of breathing fresh life into these dull but meaningful candidates. On personal recommendation (from one of the UK’s most respected gem polishing experts) we travelled to London and made our way through the hustle of Hatton Garden to meet with David. Welcomed into his offices we immediately felt safe. Listening to us and in turn, listening to his advice and expertise, he made us feel like family. His proposal - four new stones in repaired mounting claws together with professional cleaning and polishing. The result - two beautiful pairings that have utterly transformed the rings. ensuring a future for these sentimental heirloom pieces, both with my soon to be wife, and beyond. The first - a stunning engagement ring set with a white sapphire and blue shoulders and the second - the most beautiful watery aquamarine replacing a badly chipped topaz within existing diamonds. I will let the pictures talk for themselves. Thank you David. The standards of integrity, care and passion that you hold yourself to, is so evident in the results and the warm feeling which you have left us with ever since.
