Unclear, lengthy visa processes made even worse by poor communication from the team there. A lot of room for improvement.

This embassy is a disgrace and an embarrassment to Ghanaians. Their staff are unprofessional, and inefficient and do not know how to deal logically and competently with issues or unusual circumstances not to mention rude. This embassy at the premium stole 170 GBP from me without even submitting my application unable to come to a satisfactory solution for my changes in name or the fact that I no longer reside in the UK and have given me the run around and refused to refund me my money for a service they did not provide not to mention the hours of my time they wasted and the distress they caused me. Crooks!!

The online application is not the easiest to navigate and some of the fields required did not apply. Going to the Ghanian High Commission was a breath of fresh air under the circumstances. From arriving, staff are there to help, orderly, greeted at the desk with a smile and my visa was available two hours later. Thank you for being attentive

I had an 11am appointment. I wasn’t seen until 2:30pm. Then I was told that my passport would be sent to to me in 3 weeks. Almost 2 months later I haven’t received it. I’ve called, no one answers the phone. I’ve emailed, no one replies back. The chat function, no one minds me. The embassy is almost 2 hours away from my house. I’m going to have to spend the day and go back and demand for someone to give me passport that I’ve paid for or give me a refund. Worst service I’ve ever had

They are full of **** I applied for my visa and sent my passport and children birth set. It wasn’t scanned on the system and nothing for over a month. Upon contacting them by chat. They can’t seem to find my passport or children documents sent to them. Then they are asking me to send in something that is already with them for over a month, meaning my stuff are missing how on earth does a government working body be soo dumb and misplaced stuff carelessly
